Fox Business Announces Debate Lineup — and for First Time, These Two Candidates Didn't Qualify for Main Stage

Fox Business announced on Thursday the candidate lineup for Wednesday's debate — and, for the first time of the 2016 campaign cycle, Mike Huckabee and Chris Christie failed to qualify for the main stage.

Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich and Rand Paul were the candidates to qualify for the main 9:00 p.m. ET debate, Lou Dobbs announced on his program.

Christie and Huckabee, however, will be forced for the first time to appear during the "happy hour" debate at 7:00 p.m. ET. They will be joined by Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum.

To qualify for the main debate stage, candidates had to poll higher than 2.5 percent based on the average of the four most recent national polls.
