Last month Ronda Rousey, then a UFC champ, appeared on the "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and told the host exactly how she figured upcoming opponent Holly Holm would battle her.
"She’s the type of fighter you have to be very patient with," Rousey told Fallon. "She’s going to try to keep distance and keep far away from me and keep me frustrated and to the point where I’ll make a mistake and she’ll try to kick me in the head — but it’s not going to go like that."
Rousey, 28, was spot-on about everything she predicted — except the "try" part.
Holm, 34, floored the champ in the 2nd round of their Saturday bout with a devastating left-foot kick to Rousey's head, after which Holm landed a few more blows until the fight was stopped.
