Glenn Beck: House Should Pass Bill 'Today' to Take 3-Year-Old Orphans
November 18, 2015
"This is absolutely outrageous."
On The Glenn Beck Radio Program Wednesday, show host Glenn Beck challenged President Barack Obama's assertion that there is an "exaggeration of risks" when it comes to admitting refugees from the Middle East into the U.S. and that Republicans are "scared" of "3-year-old orphans."
Beck was referring to a speech Obama delivered in the Philippines Wednesday morning, criticizing the GOP presidential candidates and various Republican governors for their opposition to the administration's Syrian refugee policy.
"Apparently they’re scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America as part of our tradition of compassion," the president said. "At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of 3-year-old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me."

During the same speech, Obama chided the GOP field, saying, "We don’t make good decisions if it’s based on hysteria or an exaggeration of risks."
"This is not an exaggeration of risks," Beck said in response. "Ten percent of Islam — now, this is not counting the people in Syria, this is globally — 100 million people are extremists that want to kill you, crucify you, behead you, or make you pay a tax because you're a Christian."
Beck went on to object to the president's claim that Republicans are "scared of 3-year-old orphans," claiming he's "having a hard time finding the 3-year-old orphans" the president is describing.
The radio host insisted he would welcome 3-year-old orphans into the U.S., calling on the House of Representatives to pass a bill allowing orphans entrance into the country. Beck called for a "boatload," "planeload" and "cargo ships full" of 3-year-old orphans.
"We'll take all the 3-year-old orphans and the widows," Beck said. "They should pass that bill in the House today. This is absolutely outrageous."
