Another Republican Announced His Candidacy for President on 'SNL' Last Night

"This is an important day. I've made a big decision."

Another Republican announced his candidacy for president during the "Saturday Night Live" cold open — former president George W. Bush.

"This is an important day. I've made a big decision. I'm entering the race for President of the United States of America," Bush's character said. "The field of Republicans out there is so messed up I figured it makes you miss me, doesn't it?""

Played by Will Ferrell, the former president said he could beat the current GOP presidential frontrunners, including: retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and business mogul Donald Trump.

"I can barely hear him when he talks," Ferrell said of Carson.

"I'll tell you something, that's not gonna work when you have to go to China or Azerbaijan where you have to talk loudly so they will understand," he said, butchering the pronunciation of the Caucasus region country as Bush was known to do.

On his brother, Bush's character said, "You have to admit, it's a pretty good plot twist that I turned out to be the smart one."

At one point during the sketch, the character even sang a part of his campaign song.
