Krauthammer Names the Three Candidates Who Impressed Him During GOP Debate — and Who Was 'Out Of It\

He said they "distinguished themselves."

Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer said late Tuesday night that three candidates particularly impressed him during the Republican debate in Las Vegas.

Speaking with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, Krauthammer said "there was no winner," but contended a few candidates "distinguished themselves."

The syndicated columnist said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) defended his positions, which Krauthammer often disagrees with, "extremely well."

He said that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie had some "excellent moments" and pointed to his ability to "address the audience — not the moderators, not the pundits, but the audience."

Krauthammer concluded saying he thought former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina used her little time "extremely well."

“Otherwise, I thought there were no people who distinguished themselves,” he concluded. “Carson, I thought was sort of out of it, Kasich as well.”
