On Her Way Home to Tennessee, Taylor Swift Decided to Make a 'Special Stop' in Colorado — Here's Why

"Literally speechless..."

Taylor Swift had a good reason to be in Colorado.

The pop star surprised a 13-year-old girl who is battling cancer Saturday by showing up at her home and spending some time hanging out with her and snapping selfies.

Swift made the "special stop" in the Centennial State after a social media campaign aimed at connecting the singer with Delaney Clements grabbed her attention. Clements has been fighting cancer for five years and recently underwent more radiation treatment after doctors found two brain tumors.

But, despite the grim news, everyone was all smiles Saturday.

"Literally speechless right now!!!!!" Clements wrote on Instagram. "My new best friend ( as I call her now ) made a special stop from going home to Tennessee and surprised me and gave me the best present/ hugg ever!! Thank you !! I love you!! Happy holidays!!

Wendy Campbell, Clements' mother, posted several photos on Facebook.

"So this just happened," she wrote. "Thank you Taylor Swift for the best Christmas present ever."

"So happy for my baby girl," Campbell added.
