AT&T Pulls All Retail Ads This Christmas to Air One Powerful 60-Second Spot Instead
December 23, 2015
AT&T has a message for you this Christmas: get off your phone.
The telecommunications giant has pulled all of its retail ads on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and replaced them with one particular spot instead, according to AdWeek.
The 60-second spot, dubbed "Present," shows a family together for the holidays, but heavily distracted by their phones.
In the final scene, however, the daughter recognizes this and decides to make a move. She places her phone in a box, then wraps it as a gift and gives it to her father.
The ad ends with one message: "This season, give the present of being present."
