Panic at Disney World: False Reports of Shooting Sends 'Wave' of Crowds Stampeding for Safety
December 25, 2015
"NEVER RAN SO FAST EVER IN MY LIFE"
Crowds spending Christmas night at Downtown Disney stampeded to safety after false reports of a shooting.
A reported altercation at a restaurant led some to believe that shots had been fired — a rumor quickly dispelled by the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Nevertheless, in the moment, crowds panicked and ran for their lives.
Being at downtown Disney and people running towards you screaming "some one is shooting run" is scary. Cops were everywhere

A man identified as Dave on Twitter recounted the experience and said he overheard a Disney employee explain the incident started when someone "thought they heard something."
A representative for Walt Disney World could not be immediately reached by TheBlaze for comment.
