Trump Pressed By Reporter On Whether Losing Iowa Hurt His 'Brand' — Take a Look at How He Answered

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump was pressed on Tuesday over whether failing to win the Iowa caucus had damaged his brand as a winner.

The billionaire was asked the question during an evening news conference in Milford, New Hampshire.

"Mr. Trump, your entire campaign, your entire career, you've branded yourself as a winner. How do you think you can go forward and mean that brand with your supporters who see you as a winner after suffering a defeat in Iowa?" a reporter asked.

"Well if you look at second place, people didn't talk about my second place. They didn't talk about it as positively as they should have," Trump replied. "And yet with Marco, who was more than 2,000 votes behind me — that's a lot of votes by the way — they said, 'Oh, he's surging.'"

Trump asked why the media was covering Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was the victor when he actually finished in third place.

"But what about your brand?" the reporter asked.

"I think my brand is doing great," Trump answered.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won the caucus Monday night with 28 percent of the votes, followed by Trump with 24 percent and Rubio with 23 percent.
