Business Owner’s Racist Rant Caught on Video by Black Customer — but Here’s What He Claims Happened Right Before
February 03, 2016
"He has to respect them or he must go."
An Atlanta cleaner was caught on video going on a racist rant — but there might be more to the story.
Andy Foster told WGCL-TV that he began to record the interaction between him and Ben Hill Custom Cleaners owner Amin Chaudry after Chaudry said "you people."
"Get out," the store owner said. "You motherf****rs are more racist than anybody."
However, according to WGCL, Chaudry's comments apparently weren't made just out of the blue.
"You should know that there is something which inspired all this," said Chaudry. "He [Foster] says, 'You g** damn foreigners, you terrorists, you come in our community, you make money.' I said, 'Sir, there's no need for it.'"
"That's funny to me. If anybody knows me, they know those words would never come out of my mouth," Foster responded.
Chaudry did apologize, but patrons in the area are still upset.
"Those clothes in that establishment belong to African-Americans in this community that patronize him. He has to respect them or he must go," Inga Willis said.
