Biological anthropologist and author Helen Fisher claims that labeling "casual sex" as such is a mistake.
Is sex ever "just sex"?
Biological anthropologist and author Helen Fisher claims that so-called "casual sex" is in fact a myth. Fisher, who wrote the book "Anatomy of Love," says sex stimulates the regions of the human brain that register love and attachment.
There is, however, one possible exception.
"There's no such thing as casual sex. Unless you're so drunk that you can't remember it, something happens in the brain," the sex expert said.
