Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin cancelled a Florida rally she was scheduled to attend Monday on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump after her husband was injured in a snowmobile accident, the Trump campaign said.
Palin’s husband Todd was reportedly hospitalized Sunday evening after the accident.

The Trump campaign released the following statement:
Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.
According to NBC News, Todd Palin is being treated in intensive care, and Sarah Palin “will stop by a Trump town hall in Tampa” before returning to Alaska.
