Our Nation Is...at a Moral Tipping Point': Franklin Graham's Dire Warning About What Happens If 'We Just Stay Home' and Don't Vote

Evangelist Franklin Graham, who has been traveling around the country speaking about faith and politics on his "Decision America Tour," said on Tuesday that America "is really at a moral tipping point" and warned of what will happen if people refuse to turn out and vote.

"Today I stood on the Capitol steps in Denver, Colorado, and over 4,200 people came out – energized and ready to see change come to America by praying and by voting," Graham wrote. "Our nation is really at a moral tipping point."

He continued, "If we just stay home, we're going to lose this country and we will only have ourselves to blame."

Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, went on to encourage believers to keep praying for his "Decision America Tour," which takes him to the steps of state capitols across the nation.

He holds massive prayer rallies at each stop in an effort to encourage Christians to engage in the political culture.

As TheBlaze previously reported, the evangelist first announced the effort back in Dec. 2015, saying that America is “in trouble,” and that his tour would encourage the masses to appeal to God in an effort to alter the nation’s cultural trajectory.

"I have zero hope in the Democratic Party," Graham said during Tuesday's prayer rally in Colorado. "Wait a second, before the Republicans start high-fiving each other, I have zero hope in the Republican Party. The only hope is in God. God!"

He also preached on Nehemiah, a biblical figure, saying that "our moral walls and gates are broken down," according to WND.
