Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton emphatically nodded in seeming approval Monday while listening to a supporter claim that gun and ammunition manufacturers are "making terrorists out of our citizens."
Speaking at a gun violence forum in Port Washington, New York, the unidentified woman said, "If we all get angry enough, we can start saving lives and stop making … our citizens are the terrorists," according to the Daily Caller.
"We’re so worried about terrorism but we have terrorism on our own soil. Our gun manufacturers, our ammunition manufacturers are making terrorists out of our citizens," she added as Clinton continued to nod her head. "A sobering fact."
"Go online. Go buy a semi-automatic weapon," the woman went on to say, the Daily Caller reported. "They’re all available online with not much to prove because mom and pop somewhere out there are making them, and there’s nothing to prevent people who are mentally ill and people who are on terrorist watch lists to making our citizens become terrorists."
According to the 15 seconds of film captured by the America Rising PAC, Clinton nodded in approval the entire time the woman was speaking. It even appears that the former secretary of state was smiling throughout the woman's tirade on guns.
