Nixon and Hillary near verbatim defenses highlighted in new video

For anyone who has made a casual comparison between former President Richard Nixon and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a new video shows the two politicians of opposite parties making strangely similar defenses of their actions in Watergate and the current email scandal, respectively.

Nixon, a Republican, resigned from office in 1974 to avoid impeachment over Watergate. As the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, Clinton’s private email server is under investigation by the FBI for the potential mishandling of classified information.

The video was produced by conservative group, American Crossroads.
