Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) unloaded on Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz in a Twitter tirade Tuesday after the Texas senator's campaign sent out a fundraising email listing the personal sacrifices Cruz has made for his campaign.
Warren then went on to allude that the sacrifices listed in the campaign email only pale in comparison to the sacrifices that everyday Americans continue to make — while simultaneously blaming the GOP for the problems.
Toward the end of her rant, Warren pointed out that Cruz chose to run for president, so he chose to put himself in a position where he has to make sacrifices. Hard-working Americans, on the other hand, don't have a choice, Warren said.
Warren ended her tirade by issuing a challenge to Cruz: to stop "complaining" about his sacrifices and start "doing something" for hard-working Americans.
Warren's Tuesday tweetstorm was not the first time she has unleashed on a Republican presidential candidate on social media. Last month, Warren unloaded on GOP front-runner Donald Trump on both Facebook and Twitter.
