Republican presidential hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz was accused Sunday of "ignoring" his running mate, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, after she fell off a stage during a campaign event in Lafayette, Indiana. But a new video with a new angle allegedly proves otherwise.
News outlet Raw Story reported Sunday night that after Fiorina finished introducing Cruz and his family, she fell off the crowded stage and Cruz ignored her. "Ted Cruz continues to wave to the crowd as if nothing has happened," the outlet alleged.
But one video angle, uploaded by YouTube user "Michael Brown," shows that Fiorina didn't completely fall off stage, nor did Cruz ignore her. From the second video angle, it appears that Fiorina did fall over, but she caught herself before taking a complete tumble. Cruz, meanwhile, was preoccupied with shaking people's hands.
By the time Cruz reached Fiorina, she was already back on stage as if nothing had ever happened.
