Donald Trump had a message for his supporters Tuesday night: all is now well between him and Megyn Kelly.
The presumptive Republican nominee posted the message to Twitter after his highly-anticipated interview with the Fox News Channel host concluded.
Well, that is it. Well done Megyn --- and they all lived happily ever after! Now let us all see how "THE MOVEMENT" does in Oregon tonight!— Donald J. Trump (@Donald J. Trump) 1463533463.0
In the interview, Kelly challenged Trump over the tweets he posted calling her a "bimbo." And, while Trump said he had "great respect" for Kelly's act of reaching out to him for an interview, the brash billionaire did leave open the possibility their relationship could sour in the future.
"This could happen again with us," he said.
Trump's feud with Kelly dated back to last summer's first Republican presidential debate. Immediately following the debate, Trump criticized Kelly harshly, particularly zeroing in on her for a question she asked about his past comments toward women.
