Stephen Colbert Led Away by RNC Security After 'Hungry for Power Games' Stunt

"Look, I know I'm not supposed to be up here, but to be honest, neither is Donald Trump."

"Late Night" host Stephen Colbert briefly hijacked the GOP convention stage Sunday night before being escorted away by security.

Dressed like a character from the "Hunger Games" films, the comedian announced from the stage that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump has "formed an alliance" with Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, Trump's recently chosen running mate.

"It is my honor to hereby launch and begin the 2016 Republican National Hungry for Power Games," Colbert managed to say as he banged a gavel before a security guard approached him.

"Look, I know I'm not supposed to be up here, but to be honest, neither is Donald Trump," Colbert told the security guard.
