Mercedes Driver Trying to Parallel Park Next to $300K Ferrari Makes Costly Mistake

The driver of a Mercedes 380 SL backed up over the top of a $300,000 Ferrari on Saturday — and then made matters even worse by hitting the gas to try to free up the luxury sports car.

Images posted to Facebook showed the extent of the damage to the hood of the Ferrari.

The incident happened in the posh Washington, D.C., suburb of Great Falls, Virginia, at Katie's Cars and Coffee, a weekly car show featuring hundreds of exotic, antique and classic vehicles, according to its website.

“Are you f***ing serious? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen," one man was heard saying in the video.

The driver of the classic Mercedes, who was apparently trying to parallel park when she hit the $300,000 car, soon got out of her vehicle and said, “Oh my god, I’m shaking."

While another person was heard saying that no one was hurt, the incident will likely ding someone's bank account just a bit.
