Light of a Thousand Suns': Doctor Claims He Saw Heaven, Hell and Angels During Near-Death Experience

"greeted by archangels"

When world-renowned cardiac anesthesiologist Dr. Rajiv Parti experienced complications following cancer surgery in 2010, he was taken to the UCLA Medical Center.

While on an operating table after a night of morphine sedation, Parti claimed he watched from above as his body underwent a procedure and soon experienced the "afterlife" and "details of heaven."

It's all part of his just-released book "Dying to Wake Up: A Doctor's Voyage Into the Afterlife and the Wisdom He Brought Back."

According to the book's description, Parti claimed he "was greeted by archangels and his deceased father who led him through the tortures of hell and revealed the toxic cycle of violence that has plagued his family for generations. He even reviewed the struggles of his previous lives which, in many ways, reflected those he still faced in the present. Finally, he experienced heaven."

Parti has claimed that the heaven portion was akin to "the light of a thousand suns that did not hurt the eyes."

After he woke up, the book description says, Parti "gave away his mansion, quit his career, opened a wellness clinic, and completely turned around his relationships with his family. To this day, he still converses with angels and spreads their wisdom to the living."

Here's a clip of Parti detailing what he claimed he saw:
