After a barb about his taxes, Trump calls Clinton 'such a nasty woman

"No one respects women more than me."

Republican nominee Donald Trump took the bait and chose to lob one last insult at his opponent Wednesday night — calling her "such a nasty woman" in the debate's final moments.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was describing her plan to raise taxes on the wealthy to put more money in the Social Security trust fund when she tossed in a throwaway line making fun of Trump for not paying his taxes — alluding to a New York Times story which showed he may not have paid income taxes for two decades.

"My Social Security payroll contribution will go up, as will Donald's, assuming he can't figure out how to get out of it," she said, and Trump cut in: "Such a nasty woman."

The exchange happened shortly after moderator Chris Wallace asked Trump again about allegations that he had touched women inappropriately, claims that Trump said were largely debunked.

"No one respects women more than me," Trump said then as part of his answer.
