Former top FBI official: The Clintons are a 'crime family

News
PITTSBURGH, PA - JULY 30: Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her husband former U.S. president Bill Clinton greet supporters during a campaign rally with democratic vice presidential nominee U.S. Sen Tim Kaine (D-VA) at the David L. A former top FBI official charged in a radio interview Sunday that Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of a “crime family."

"The Clintons, that’s a crime family. It’s like organized crime, basically. The Clinton Foundation is a cesspool,” James Kallstrom, former assistant director of the FBI, said in an interview with John Catsimatidis on WNYM-AM.

"It’s just outrageous how Hillary Clinton sold her office for money. And she’s a pathological liar, and she’s always been a liar,” he added. "And God forbid if we put someone like that in the White House."

Kallstrom also took several jabs at his former employer, saying that top officials at the FBI actually hindered the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, which she used while secretary of state instead of her secure government provided email.

"The problem here is this investigation was never a real investigation,” he said. “That’s the problem. They never had a grand jury empanelled, and the reason they never had a grand jury empanelled, I’m sure, is Loretta Lynch would not go along with that."

"It was just ludicrous what went on,” he continued.

However, the botched investigation wasn’t the fault of the rank-and-file agents, Kallstrom said, instead placing blame on the bureau’s leadership.

"This is not the FBI agents who’s to blame for this fiasco going on. This is the leadership,” he said. "This is Jim Comey … The agents are furious with what’s going on. I know that for a fact."
