Trump accuses Obama of transition 'roadblocks

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday accused President Barack Obama of not facilitating a smooth transition of power.

In a tweet sent out shortly after 9 a.m. ET, Trump took aim at his predecessor, who is currently vacationing with his family in Hawaii. Trump, meanwhile, is staying at his South Florida Mar-a-Lago resort property.

"Doing my best to disregard the many inflammatory President O statements and roadblocks.Thought it was going to be a smooth transition - NOT!" Trump tweeted.

Trump's pointed comment came just weeks after he praised Obama, saying he's gotten along with the president "so well."

“No, no, no, he’s really doing great. He’s been so nice,” Trump said earlier this month in Louisiana, prompting boos from supporters.

Obama previously said he would direct his staff to oversee a smooth transition to the Trump presidency, holding up the example set by his predecessor, George W. Bush.
