Crocodiles climb a mud bank toward workers, at a farm owned by the Rosenthal family in San Manuel Cortes, northern Honduras, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015. Thousands of crocodiles on the private farm have been poorly fed because of a lack of resources, according to authorities and employees at the property, after the bank accounts of the Rosenthal family were seized during a probe into accusations they were operating a money laundering network linked to drug trafficking. Farm employees said the animals went without food for more than a month, but were finally fed over the weekend thanks to donations. (AP Photo/Fernando Antonio)

Woman learns the hard way why you don't try to take a selfie with a crocodile
January 03, 2017
A French tourist in Thailand is recovering from a crocodile bite after her attempt at taking a selfie with the croc went horribly wrong.
The 41 year old French woman was visiting Khao Yai National Park with her husband, and after walking off the path and discovering the crocodiles, the woman decided she wanted to get close enough to the crocodile to take a picture with it. As she squatted down next to it, it turned toward her and bit her in the leg while she posed for the picture.
Employees of the park came to her aid before she was taken to a nearby hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
There are reportedly many signs placed all around the park warning tourists to stay on the paths only.
