At least five people are dead and eight injured after a gunman opened fire Friday at Florida's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said authorities have not yet determined a motive in the case, and that it is "too early" to say if it is terrorism. It is believed the gunman, who has been identified as 26-year-old Estaban Santiago.
Former White House Press Secretary under President George W. Bush, who was at the airport, was tweeting as the event unfolded inside Terminal 2 Friday.
