A massive fire broke out at Trump Tower on 5th Avenue in Manhattan on Saturday.
The New York Fire Department said the three-alarm fire erupted on the 50th floor of the massive skyscraper sometime after 6 p.m. EST on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.
Photos and videos showed smoke billowing out of the building.
President Donald Trump's business and his personal residence are located in the building. However, since assuming the presidency, Trump has spent little time there and was not in the building during the fire.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Has Trump responded?
The president tweeted that the fire is out and praised firefighters for extinguishing the blaze.
