Breaking: Trump tweets stunning news about Larry Kudlow as historic summit begins
June 11, 2018
As President Trump was on his way to the historic summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un Monday, he tweeted stunning news about his economic advisor, Larry Kudlow.
"Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack," the president tweeted.
"He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center," he added.
The president offered no further details about his advisor who was not slated to have a part in the historic summit with North Korea in Singapore.
Kudlow, who is 70 years old, had just joined the Trump administration in March. He made headlines recently when he criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for "betraying" the president after the G-7 economic summit.
“Here’s the thing. He really kind of stabbed us in the back,” Kudlow said on CNN Sunday. “He really actually, you know what, he did a great disservice to the whole G-7.”
“Trudeau made an error," he added. "He should take it back. He should pull back on his statements."
Kudlow had worked as a White House budget aide in the Reagan administration, and had also been an informal advisor to the 2016 Trump campaign.
Here's a Fox Business Network report about the stunning news:
