Ocasio-Cortez thinks very highly of herself. Here's her latest hilarious gaffe.

Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been mocked by her critics for her many gaffes, but her latest bizarre comment is just confusing to many people.

"We've done what we thought was impossible"

The Democratic Socialist was speaking at a "Sunrise Movement" press conference in Washington D.C. on Friday when she made the comments. She was advocating for a "Green New Deal" to combat the effects of global warming.

"This is not just about a Green New Deal," she intoned. "This is about a New Deal for the United States of America."

"Because in every moment when our country has reached the depths of darkness," she continued, "in every moment when we were at the brink, at the cusp of an abyss, and we did not know if we would be capable of saving ourselves, we have."

"We've done it. We've dug deep," she added. "And we've done what we thought was impossible."

"We went to the moon," she said. "We electrified the nation. We established Civil Rights. We enfranchised the country."

"We dig deep and we did it. We did it. When no one else thought that we could," she continued.

"That's what we did when so many of us won an election this year!" she said.

"That's what so many of us did," she repeated to meek applause.
