Biden mocked after campaign ad saying 'I’ll always answer a call from my grandchildren' resurfaces amid White House rejection of Hunter's daughter

President Biden was mocked on social media after a 2020 election campaign video resurfaced in which the commander in chief says he always has time to take a call from his grandchildren.

The video clip, posted just a few weeks before the 2020 presidential election, was captioned, "I’ve had a rule my entire life: No matter what’s happening, no matter how important the meeting, I’ll always answer a call from my grandchildren."

"Hey, by the way, did you get a picture with the dogs?" Biden says in the ad while on the phone. "I'll tell you what, did you see the message they sent? They said they miss you," he continued.

"I miss you too, angel. Okay, I'm heading home now, I'll call you when I get back to Delaware. I love you, baby, bye-bye," Biden said.

"She's an incredible kid," he added before the video ended.

However, in 2023 the Biden administration appears to reject the existence of one of the president's granddaughters, Navy Joan, who was fathered by the president's son Hunter Biden with a woman named Lunden Roberts. Roberts is a former stripper, according to the Daily Mail.

The New York Times reported that White House staff have been previously instructed to say that President Biden has six, not seven, grandchildren.

POTUS even rejected the notion of his seventh grandchild in an announcement for "Take Your Child to Work Day" in April 2023.

"I have six grandchildren. And I’m crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke," Biden said. "Matter of fact, I just got finished going through the calls. And only one of them answered the phone. (Laughter.) But at least I got to leave a message."

Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about granddaughter Navy Joan in early July 2023, to which she replied "I don't have anything to share from here.”

Biden does recognize his other granddaughters publicly, but not always literally. On a campaign stop in 2020, then-candidate Biden first introduced his granddaughter as "my son Beau Biden who a lot of you helped elect to the senate in Delaware."

He then corrected himself and called her Natalie, which was actually the wrong granddaughter, "Oh no wait, I got the wrong one," he said.

Biden has also had public outings with his granddaughter Finnegan, who was the offspring he initially thought was Natalie at the aforementioned press stop.

The six grandchildren whom Biden officially recognizes are Naomi, Finnegan, Maisy, Beau Jr., Natalie, and Robert "Hunter."
