'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe still upset over quarterback Tom Brady's MAGA hat from 2015

Tells him to get rid of it

Actor and "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is still upset over a Make America Great Again hat that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had in his locker back in 2015.

What did he say?

"Take that 'MAGA' hat out of your locker," Radcliffe told Variety magazine during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. "I feel like that was the moment when, as a country, we were all like 'Oh, come on dude!' We all want — you're awesome — to be behind you. Don't put that in there."

Brady displayed the "MAGA" hat in his locker during the fall of 2015. The quarterback used to play golf with Trump before he became president and has referred to him as a friend, The Boston Globe reported. But since then, he has distanced himself from Trump and politics. The two have also disagreed on the practice of football players kneeling when the National Anthem is played during games.

Radcliffe, an avid football fan, declared that he won't be supporting the Patriots during their Super Bowl matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Feb. 3.

"So [I'm rooting for the] Rams," Radcliffe said. "I don't know if they're going to win but I want them to."

Radcliffe made his comments during an interviews for his new show, "Miracle Workers."

The actor said Brady, 41, shouldn't retire, but should "stop winning things."

"...The whole world is rooting against the Patriots — sorry," Radcliffe said.

What's he up to now?

Radcliffe appears in the upcoming comedy series "Miracle Workers," and he is an executive producer of the show, along with Steve Buscemi, Variety reported. The series is based on Simon Rich's novel "What in God's Name."

In the show, Radcliffe plays an angel in Heaven that attempts to help people on Earth after God (Buscemi) decides he's sick of the planet and wants to destroy it, Variety reported.
