Hospital’s ‘gender affirming care’ training promotes 3-year-olds identifying as trans

Kaiser Permanente’s new mandatory “gender affirming care” staff training promoted the idea that 3- and 4-year-old children can identify as transgender, according to documents obtained by Libs of TikTok.

A Kaiser Permanente employee, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of losing employment, shared recent training videos featuring minors discussing their so-called gender transition stories. The employee told Libs of TikTok that the employee is concerned the training materials promote the mutilation and castration of children.

The training documents outline “learning objectives” for staff, including being able to “explain the importance of gender affirming care” and “recogniz[ing] the experiences transgender, gender diverse, and intersex patients face.” Additionally, employees must learn the “appropriate terms that allow for understanding and delivering of gender affirming care.”

According to the health care company insider, staff were required to watch a 45-minute course featuring videos about “Transgender and Gender Diverse care,” Libs of TikTok reported. The video included a testimonial from a young boy named “Rose” who now identifies as a girl.

“I was born a boy, but I always knew that I was a girl,” Rose said.

Rose’s father, Carl, explained that his child would write letters to the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, asking to become a girl.

“Transgender people’s gender identity is different from the gender they were thought to be at birth,” the training video stated. “Many transgender people have always known their true gender.”

Devon, a biological female who identifies as a “transgender man,” claimed that by age 3, “I decided that I was going to grow up and be a father and marry Janet Jackson.”

Another young child, Ellie, was born a boy but now identifies as a girl.

“Ellie told us on her fourth birthday that she was a girl in her heart and in her brain. And I said, ‘you’re my favorite princess boy,’ and what did you say, Ellie?” the child’s mother asked.

“No, I’m a princess girl,” Ellie replied.

Kaiser Permanente told Fox News Digital that the training video does not endorse the use of medical interventions on 3- and 4-year-old children.

“While the video includes two children speaking about how they view their gender identity, the video does not speak to any adolescent transgender care or treatment plans. Kaiser Permanente does not provide hormone treatments or gender-affirming surgery to 3 and 4-year-olds,” the health care provider stated.
