Hunter Biden plays victim, accuses his critics of trying to 'kill' him and 'destroy' his father's presidency

Hunter Biden claimed in a new interview that congressional Republicans investigating allegations of Biden family corruption — which center on his foreign business schemes — are trying to "kill" him to "destroy" his father's presidency.

Speaking with musician Moby, a friend he met through recovery, Hunter Biden asserted that his political critics are "not healthy people," that they are experiencing "anguish" over unsolved traumas in their lives, and that they're determined to mete out their pain on the Biden family.

"They are trying to, in their most illegitimate way, but rational way, they’re trying to destroy a presidency," Biden told Moby on his podcast.

"And so it's not about me. And [in] their most base way, what they're trying to do is they're trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle," he continued.

"I realized that, that it's not about me," Biden said. "And then the second thing that I realized is that these people are just sad, very, very sick people that have most likely just faced traumas in their lives that they've decided that they are going to turn into an evil that they decide that they're going to inflict on the rest of the world."

The interview was published, ironically, one day after Biden was indicted on nine new criminal charges — including three felonies — for failing to file and pay taxes, tax evasion, and filing a false return.

Prosecutors accuse the first son of breaking tax laws from 2016 to 2019 to finance a wild and chaotic life that included extravagant spending on "drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing and other items of a personal nature." Biden faces up to 17 years in prison if convicted on the charges.

It is the second time in three months that special counsel David Weiss has indicted Hunter Biden. In September, Biden was indicted on three felony gun charges when he allegedly lied about being a user of illegal drugs on a federal form to purchase a firearm in 2018.

With the serious charges Biden faces juxtaposed to his comments, one must ask: are Hunter and members of the Biden family victims of an unfair fishing expedition for illegitimate charges? Or are investigators following the smoke to see if there is fire?
