Democrat-turned-independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been denied Secret Service protection yet again.
"I have consulted with an advisory committee composed of the Speaker of the House, the House Minority Leader, the Senate Majority Leader, the Senate Minority Leader, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms," a letter signed by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas declared, according to Deseret News. "Based on the facts and the recommendation of the advisory committee, I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not warranted at this time."
Kennedy, who initially launched a White House bid as a Democrat, later switched to an independent run.
The White House hopeful is the son of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, both of whom were both assassinated.
In October, an individual was arrested after scaling a fence at the candidate's residence and then arrested again the same day after returning to the residence, according to the Kennedy campaign.
But Kennedy's requests for Secret Service protection have been rejected. And the candidate has suggested that the protection is being denied for political purposes.
"Denied Secret Service again! It's not just about me. It's another example of weaponization of government against Biden's political opponents. They know that 30¢ of every campaign dollar goes to keeping me safe," Kennedy tweeted.

Incumbent President Joe Biden is seeking re-election and appears likely to secure the Democratic Party's presidential nomination again. If elected, he would be 86 years old by the end of a second term in office.
