Chris Salcedo doesn't watch ESPN and ponders if it's 'a technological dinosaur
March 09, 2017
On "The Chris Salcedo Show," Chris Salcedo talks about Breitbart's article about tweet revealing ESPN was ignoring viewers complaints and talking too much on politics. According to viewers the network is getting too political and not covering enough sports.
"Despite years of complaints for viewers that the network has drifted too far to the political left, sports news network ESPN seems to be thoroughly ignoring its customers by continuing to delve into politics at the expense of sports coverage," Chris reads.
Chris explains how a tweet with a screenshot of the ordeal tells the tale. Salcedo concluded that this has been an ongoing problem for a good many years. He states that a producer of "The Chris Salcedo Show," mentioned that "ESPN's viewership has been on the downhill slide because of the alternative media out there. That as ESPN hasn't been the go to place for sports anymore — there's so many other outlets or venues, your phones, and social media and different outlets for getting sports. ... That ESPN is becoming a technological dinosaur."
Salcedo believes ESPN and sports media is losing it's novelty because there's so much other sports information out there.
