Does this CNN contributor's response to a Trump tweet mean corporations are now people?
July 05, 2017
CNN went on the offensive when President Donald Trump tweeted a video a Reddit user made, superimposing the CNN corporate logo on to the face of a WWE opponent in a staged match with Trump at a 2007 Wrestlemania event. Various CNN anchors commented on the video on air, taking it as a personal threat.
Ana Navarro interpreted Trump’s tweeting of the video as “calling for violence on reporters everywhere.” She also said, “He is going to get someone killed,” and could not believe that Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert didn’t think the tweet was a threat, calling him a “wuss.”
Chris Salcedo observed that the left does not recognize corporations as people until it becomes convenient for them on today’s “Chris Salcedo Show.” Navarro was speaking of the logo as though it represented every reporter in America instead of a multimedia company. Chris noted, “If CNN represents the entire free press, we are doomed.”
