Does Trump's own National Security Council oppose him?

In a time when the United States is facing nuclear threats from North Korea, the country has no room for leaks and backstabbing in the National Security Council. National security adviser H.R. McMaster is rumored to be a potential pink slip recipient, although President Donald Trump expressed support for him just days ago.

Americans for Limited Government president Richard Manning thinks, and wrote a piece for Fox News titled, "Trump should fire McMaster and the entire NSC staff." He said on today's "Chris Salcedo Show" that when the president has phone conversations with the presidents of Mexico and Australia, their expectation of privacy should be honored, they should be able to speak without concern that everyone will read about it tomorrow, and that the damage this does to foreign policy is "inestimable."

He painted a picture of McMaster for Chris Salcedo of a man who feels more comfortable with former President Barack Obama's way of doing things. Manning said the general even banned the tern "Obama holdover," a reference to people still in the NSC who worked for the former president.

Manning also reported that McMaster got rid of Rich Higgins after he turned in a memo detailing how globalists, bankers, Islamists, and the deep state undermines Trump policy. Although it is ultimately Trump's decision whom to fire, Manning feels he is surrounding himself with people who oppose him, saying he's going to "face a very difficult time" accomplishing what he wants to accomplish.
