A rumor recently surfaced online that Wal-Mart was selling Black Lives Matter merchandise while refusing to stock pro-police apparel and home decor. Mike Opelka digs into this rumor and finds it to be untrue, which prompts him to warn his listeners about the dangers of believing anything they read online.
"Before you waste perfectly good anger on somebody that doesn't deserve it or some company that doesn't deserve it, do a little bit of your own fact-checking," Mike implores his listeners. "Do a little bit of your own research. Even if you know the person who sent you that email."
He goes on: "Before you hang your own opinion on top of it and put your good name behind it, just scratch a little bit below the surface and see what's under there.
