Listen: Boy accidentally stabs himself with a pencil -- luckily, a teacher noticed this
November 24, 2017
A Florida elementary school teacher thought she noticed a trail of spilled juice in a hallway and followed it.
The red liquid was definitely not juice. She found third-grader Kolston Moradi covered in blood after he had stuck a freshly sharpened pencil in his backpack pocket that stabbed him in the arm and punctured an artery.
Teachers and the school nurse rallied to make him a tourniquet and get help, saving the boy’s life, and Kolston was even able to make it to school the next day.
Brad had this incredible story as part of headlines last week.
