Listen: Caller rakes Chris Christie over the coals on sports talk show

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was raked over the coals by a caller identifying himself as “Mike from Montclair,” on a live WFAN sports talk show last week which he was guest hosting. The caller launched a verbal attacked, referencing the 4th of July weekend incident in which Christie and his family were seen enjoying a beach that had been closed to the public due to government shutdowns.

Stu Burguiere of “Pat and Stu” thinks the governor may be considering a change in career. “Everyone knows that Chris Christie’s political career is dirt,” said Stu. “And he is now looking for his next career. What I believe is that he may very well…become a sports radio host after this.”

Perhaps in preparation for this new career move, Christie stepped in as guest host on Mike Francesa’s WFAN sports talk show and took a call from “Mike from Montclair.”

Here’s what Mike had to say, “Governor, next time you want to sit on a beach that is closed to the entire world except you, you get your fat a** in a car and go to one that is open to all of your constituents, not just you and yours.”

The governor immediately fired back, “I love getting calls from communists in Montclair...”

“Communists in Montclair? You’re a bully, Governor, and I don’t like bullies,” responded Mike.

And the argument deteriorated from there. “He called the guy a communist and a bum,” said Pat Gray of Christie. “He handled that really poorly. Not a good start at all.”
