Preventing terrorist attacks is a better idea than #Prayfor_insert_city_here after the fact
May 24, 2017
Mike Opelka delivered an epic rant today on "Pure Opelka" in response to Katy Perry's bizarre post-Manchester terror attack "analysis."
"I think that the greatest thing we could do is just unite and love on each other, and like, no barriers, no borders, like, we all need to just co-exist," she said on "“The Elvis Duran Show." The suicide bomber managed to kill 22 and injure over a hundred more at an Ariana Grande concert Monday night.
Mike responded to her solution with a list starting with #PrayFor..., a Twitter convention where users express solidarity with a cause or place by adding a "hashtag." A notable previous use was #PrayForParis after the Charlie Hebo incident.
Mike relentlessly listed all the #PrayForInsertCityHere with dates, which took a full two minutes. He then asked "What do all of these have in common? A group of people who will not give us any inch of tolerance in our lives."
"This all has Islamic radical terrorism in common," Mike said.
