Today on "Pure Opelka", Mike Opelka invited Heat Street's Emily Zanotti bring him up to date on Huma Abedin's quest to publish a tell-all book about her life. "How much can she actually tell?" asked Zanotti, considering her husband, former Democrat congressmen and failed mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner is currently facing indictment for child pornography.
Abedin, a former aide to Hillary Clinton, is reportedly asking for $2 million to tell her story. Considering her husband's current legal woes, it is unlikely Abedin's tell-all could amount to much more than a "tell-some." Subsequently "no one has nibbled [at this book] as far as we can tell," Zanotti reported.
She and Mike speculated that pushing what will probably be an incomplete narrative for that amount of money is a hard sell, and that Weiner's beleaguered wife might have better luck selling an interview to Diane Sawyer or Barbara Walters.
After the release of the documentary "Weiner," as well as constant coverage of Weiner's various scandals, Mike wondered, "What don't we already know?"
