This former presidential candidate blames the US for North Korean aggression

Jill Stein, who ran in the 2016 presidential election as a green candidate, made some remarks on MSNBC that have been construed as defending North Korea. She said the THAAD missile defense system protecting United States’ ally South Korea is “destabilizing” the area by making China nervous and that the U.S.’ behavior is leading to North Korean nuclear development.

Ed Dean of the Ed Dean Radio Show said on Tuesday’s “Chris Salcedo Show” that the average person doesn’t care about the anonymous sources and White House scandals the cable news networks are perpetuating -- because they are disappointed Donald Trump is the president.

He thought even if Trump ordered defensive moves in North Korea, like recalling American women and children from the Korean peninsula, the media would find something to criticize. He joked, “If Donald Trump said he was pro-choice tomorrow, the media would declare themselves pro-life.”

Chris Salcedo noted that the MSNBC interviewer tried to help Stein straighten out her message, but that she dug in deeper. He acknowledged, in the spirit of fairness, that even liberal associates view her as “full tilt bozo crazy nuts.”
