Just when you thought Shia LaBeouf couldn’t be crazier, “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” has an update for you.
LaBeouf was reportedly thrown out of a California bowling alley last week after the bartender wouldn’t serve him French fries. The “Transformers” actor started yelling at the bartender and accusing him of being “racist.” LaBeouf also recently made headlines for his “He will not divide us” anti-Trump protest and also when his website was hacked to show anti-Semitic messages.
In his latest attempt to gain attention, LaBeouf has announced his next project. As an unusual art performance effort, he will spend a month at a remote location in Finland where his sole method of communication will be via texts from a Helsinki museum. People will be able to go into a cabin inside the museum and send LaBeouf text messages, which will be his only contact with the outside world.
Doc seemed to think that a month without the actor in the headlines could be a good idea. “Shia going away for a month … pretty good deal,” he quipped.
The actor’s art collective project will be called “#ALONETOGETHER.”
