Woman tried to steal a stripper pole from a store – and the story gets worse
June 29, 2017
A woman who didn’t have the in-store credit to buy a $40 stripper pole from Spencer’s decided to steal it instead. When a gutsy employee tried to stop her, she was bitten on the arm by the would-be thief. Doc Thompson and the guys looked at this odd news story on Thursday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”
Police were called to a Spencer’s in Little Rock, Ark., at 11:40 a.m. last Wednesday after the attempted robbery but weren’t able to arrest a suspect, Arkansas Online reported. According to the Spencer’s employee, the woman who tried to steal the stripper pole had been suspected of stealing from the store before.
The 26-year-old employee who tried to stop her was bitten while struggling with the woman in a common area of the mall, authorities said. While she couldn’t stop the would-be thief, she managed to wrestle the stripper pole away from the woman.
