Would you pull out a gun over Walmart school supplies? This woman did.

The school supplies scene at Walmart is intense this year. Are you prepared to pull out a gun over the last notebook on the shelf?

That’s what a 51-year-old mom in Michigan did when a pair of other shoppers started fighting with her daughter over a notebook.  Two women, ages 32 and 46, apparently wanted the same notebook that the 20-year-old woman reached for at the same time, Fox 2 Detroit reported.

The woman carrying a gun had a concealed pistol license; prosecutors have been trying to figure out if she acted in self-defense. No one was hurt, but all four women could face assault charges.

Doc Thompson and Kal Elsebai looked at the story for part of the “Friday leftovers” on “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”

"When it's that last 29 cent Hello Kitty notebook, you know you've got to get it," Kal said.
