On this episode of "The Jeff Fisher Show," Jeffy talks about a story that broke a year and half ago on "Pat & Stu" about a would-be stickup artist armed only with a potato in Providence, Rhode Island.
Jeff mentions how the story was the talk of the town in Providence at the time, with everyone on the hunt for the "potato robber." Jeff reminds us that the local news felt compelled to follow the typical coverage formula by looking for people on the street to interview about their reactions to this bizarre event. Unfortunately, the best they could find was a local woman named Linda Hopkins, whose comments were less than illuminating.
"When they asked Linda about the potato robber in the neighborhood, She had this to say: 'I heard it on the news and it said it was ridiculous, man. That's it.' You cannot find a better woman on the street report in America than Linda Hopkins. You can't find it," Jeff says.
