Citizens beware: Tyranny is afoot

Mark Levin, BlazeTV host of "LevinTV," took to the airwaves to sound the alarm over the perilous state of our civil liberties in the face of a federal government that has become completely drunk with power.

“We have the most dangerous FBI today since the history of the FBI. We have the most dangerous Department of Justice since it was founded by Ulysses S. Grant in 1870. We have the most dangerous attorney general since George Washington hand-picked an attorney general in 1795,” says Levin.

With a Democrat-run DOJ, FBI, and White House, justice seems to swing only in one direction. This is not a coincidence, and it is not constitutional.

“The Republican House has to preserve separation of powers and has to preserve our governmental system,” Levin urges.

Negotiations should be encouraged between the branches. There should be a give and take that provides checks and balances, but that possibility seems to be growing dimmer by the decade.

“If another branch is corrupt in the sense that they’re using the law against their political opponents, and they’re corrupt in the sense that they basically dare you to do anything about it because they’re not going to enforce it on the executive side, you have to act,” Levin says.

Congress has more power than it is currently using, and lawmakers are not leveraging it nearly enough to balance the executive branch.

“If [Congress] want[s] to look at how the Federal Bureau of Investigation is functioning, […] the FBI is not free to just blow off our elected representatives,” Levin continues.

If the House were to hold an individual of the government “in contempt,” legislators have the ability to send the sergeant of arms to arrest that person and jail him.

“I know you will be attacked by the media, but the media is corrupt,” says Levin.

The opinions of people who are immoral don’t matter. What matters is doing the right thing, despite what others say. Before the damage is out of control, Congress needs to get the executive branch under control.

“Joe Biden’s executive branch is undermining representative government and unleashing criminal law enforcement against people with whom they disagree,” Levin says.
