A dangerous percentage of physicians across the country feel overworked and burned out

A recent study from the Mayo Clinic showed physicians across the country are burning out. More than 50% of doctors reported being overwhelmed and stressed out over their work/life balances. Most reported having difficulty balancing management, work, and home life.
Naturally, hospitals are worried their staff are being overworked, which can lead to poorer health care and medical errors rising.
Developing a life outside of work has shown some improvement, but perhaps there is a larger issue here than just doctors with poor time management skills.
