Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attempted to force her will on Nancy Pelosi in the name of renewable energy
November 15, 2018
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other protesters showed up Tuesday at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's office in Washington, D.C., to "start a conversation" about making the switch to 100 percent renewable energy in order to save the planet.
On Wednesday's '"Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed the latest news about Ocasio-Cortez — the youngest person ever to be elected to the House of Representatives — after she joined a sit-in at Pelosi's office to demand renewable energy now.
"We do not have a choice, we have to get to 100 percent renewable energy in 10 years," Ocasio-Cortez said. "In a way, it's about real meaningful unity behind our goals."
Pat joked that this kind of partisan infighting, while entertaining, raises questions about where we find ourselves as a country. Democrats protesting Democrats marks a moment in time for the United States and that is troubling.
